Delhi Electric Company was founded in 1964 with a single mission: deliver reliable electrical infrastructure to India's growing industrial sector. Six decades later, that mission remains unchanged — but our scale, capability, and integrated manufacturing have grown beyond what our founders could have imagined.
Today, DEC leads a group that includes Trisquare Switchgear — India's specialist MV/LV switchgear and control panel manufacturer — and POLYVION, our in-house cable and wire manufacturing division. This vertical integration is the single biggest differentiator between DEC and every other EPC contractor in India.
We serve the industries that power India: sugar & cogeneration, ethanol distilleries, cement, steel, chemical, and international projects across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and the Philippines.

Company Founded
Delhi Electric Company established in New Delhi, beginning operations as a regional electrical contractor for industrial clients.
Switchgear Division
Launched Trisquare Switchgear — our in-house MV/LV switchgear manufacturing arm — eliminating third-party dependency on critical panel components.
132kV Capability
Achieved first 132kV substation commissioning milestone, entering the high-voltage EPC market.
POLYVION Established
Cable & wire manufacturing division POLYVION founded, completing DEC's vertical integration from switchgear to cables to EPC.
220kV Achievement
First 220kV substation successfully commissioned — the highest capability benchmark in India's industrial EPC sector.
International Expansion
Secured and successfully delivered first international project in Kenya — West Kenya Sugar — opening the East Africa market.
ISO Triple Certification
Achieved simultaneous certification to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
