What began in 1964 as a Delhi-based electrical contracting firm has grown, over six decades, into a fully integrated engineering company trusted by some of India's largest industrial names. From our base in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, DEC has built a reputation on a simple principle: electrical infrastructure has to work, the first time and every time, because the industries built on top of it don't get a second chance.

Today, DEC manages the full lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects — design, procurement, erection, testing, and commissioning — for substations, plant electrification, and industrial power systems. Our engineering teams have built deep expertise across sugar and cogeneration, cement, distilleries, and heavy process industries, and are actively extending that expertise into renewable energy, battery storage, and data center infrastructure as India's industrial base evolves.

What sets DEC apart from a standard EPC contractor is the group structure behind it. Through Trisquare Switchgears and POLYVION Cables — our sister manufacturing companies — DEC controls the panels and cables that go into every project it builds. That vertical integration removes the supply-chain uncertainty that slows down most contractors, and lets us guarantee a level of quality consistency that's difficult to match when critical components are sourced out.

Every DEC turnkey project runs on the strength of its conductors, which is why POLYVION exists. Operating from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kundli, Sonipat, POLYVION produces a comprehensive range of electrical cables and wires — from HT and LT power cables to specialized control and instrumentation cables — engineered to IS, IEC, and BS standards.

Keeping cable manufacturing in-house gives DEC something few EPC contractors can offer: full traceability from raw copper and aluminum through to finished cable, factory-tested quality before a single meter reaches site, and the flexibility to manufacture to a project's exact specification rather than pulling from a generic catalogue. When a DEC project calls for a cable, it doesn't wait on an external vendor's production queue — it draws directly from POLYVION's own line.
