Wonji Shoa Sugar Factory is one of East Africa's most historic sugar production facilities. As part of Ethiopia's national sugar modernization initiative, DEC executed the complete turnkey electrical infrastructure package for the greenfield expansion.
The project covered 33kV substation erection, plant power distribution, Trisquare mill MCC panels, POLYVION HT cabling, and Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) grid connection.
